Debarim (Deuteronomy) 13 — Beware False Prophets! or, Identifying the Anti-Messiah

Lesson date: 5/28/5854AA

What does the menorah have to do with following false prophets? The center position is called the Shamash (Sun) Position, a.k.a. The Messiah Position, a.k.a. The Plumbline.

Mal 4:2  “But to you who fear My Name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. And you shall go out and leap for joy like calves from the stall.

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.

Joh 1:2  He was in the beginning with Elohim.

Joh 1:3  All came to be through Him, and without Him not even one came to be that came to be.

Joh 1:4  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Joh 1:5  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Amo 7:7  This is what He showed me, and see, יהוה stood on a wall made with a plumb-line, with a plumb-line in His hand,

Amo 7:8  and יהוה said to me, “Amos, what do you see?” And I said, “A plumb-line.” And יהוה said, “See, I am setting a plumb-line in the midst of My people Yisra’ĕl, no longer do I pardon them.

I think all of us see that Yeshua is the one being portrayed in these Scriptures. Yeshua, with the Name of His Father in Him is recognized as YHVH. ((Exo. 23:20-21))

Verse 1 – חלום  חלם  – Chalam chalom – dreamer of dreams. Look at it carefully, first the BDB definition: H2492 – חלם – châlamBDB Definition: 1) to dream 1a) (Qal) 1a1) to dream (ordinary) 1a2) to dream (prophetic) 1a3) to dream (of false prophets) 1b) (Hiphil) to dream.

This is where things get interesting, look at the Strong’s: A primitive root; properly to bind firmly, that is, (by implication) to be (causatively to make) plump; also (through the figurative sense of dumbness) to dream: Do you see what is happening? The dreamer of dreams is causing an abrupt change in our faith, i.e., in others words we have a “new” revelation, a “new” vision, a “new” direction. Look the word up; plump means an abrupt change. How does this prophet (H5030 – nabiy) accomplish this? By giving a sign or wonder.

Sign – H226 – אוֹת‘ôthoth – Probably from H225 (in the sense of appearing); a signal (literally or figuratively), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc.: – mark, miracle, (en-) sign, token.

Wonder – H4159 – מֹפֵת / מוֹפֵת – môphêth / môphêth mo-faith’, mo-faith’ From H3302 in the sense of conspicuousness; a miracle; by implication a token or omen: – miracle, sign, wonder (-ed at).

The hair on the back of your neck ought to be tingling about now.

Mat 24:23  “If anyone then says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe.

Mat 24:24  “For false messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

Mat 24:25  “See, I have forewarned you. ((In Matt. 24:25 or Debarim 13:1?))

Did Yeshua say something new or did He just remind us what He said in Debarim 13?

So, how will a false prophet beguile us?

Verse 2 – “and the sign or the wonder shall come true,” Who would believe someone who had just predicted something that did not happen; say a blood moon, a sign in the heavens? Very few. How do you become a saint in the Roman Catholic Church? If you have performed miracles confirmed by two or more witnesses. All of this is sounding familiar: Rev 13:11  And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

Rev 13:12  And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Rev 13:13 And he does great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from the heaven on the earth before men.

Rev 13:14  And he leads astray those dwelling on the earth because of those signs which he was given to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword, yet lived.

Verse 2 again – ‘Let us go after other mighty ones – which you have not known – and serve them,’

Dan 11:36  “And the sovereign shall do as he pleases, and exalt himself and show himself to be great above every mighty one, and speak incredible matters against the Ěl of mighty ones, and shall prosper until the wrath has been accomplished – for what has been decreed shall be done –

Dan 11:37  and have no regard for the mighty ones of his fathers nor for the desire of women, nor have regard for any mighty one, but exalt himself above them all.

Dan 11:38  “But in his place he shall give esteem to a mighty one of strongholds. And to a mighty one which his fathers did not know he shall give esteem with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts.

Dan 11:39  “And he shall act against the strongest strongholds with a foreign mighty one, which he shall acknowledge. He shall increase in esteem and cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.

Do you see why I reinforce, over and over, that all of the prophecies in Torah have not been made known. Notice, I did not say come to pass, but made known.

Verse 3 – This is what I call the “eat crow” verse: for יהוה your Elohim is trying you to know whether you love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being. Sound familiar?

2Th 2:9  The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood,

2Th 2:10  and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, in order for them to be saved.

2Th 2:11 And for this reason Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood,

2Th 2:12 in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth, but have delighted in the unrighteousness.

Verse 4 – We have 6 verbs calling us to love our Elohim: Walk afterH1980 – הלך – hâlakBDB Definition: 1) to go, walk, come 1a) (Qal) 1a1) to go, walk, come, depart, proceed, move, go away 1a2) to die, live, manner of life (figuratively) 1b) (Piel) 1b1) to walk 1b2) to walk (figuratively) 1c) (Hithpael) 1c1) to traverse 1c2) to walk about 1d) (Niphal) to lead, bring, lead away, carry, cause to walk

((Just a note: Qal; Piel; Hithpael; Niphal are different verb tenses just like do, did , done or go, gone, went in English))

Gen 3:8  And they heard the sound of יהוה Elohim walking about in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of יהוה Elohim among the trees of the garden.

Gen 5:22  And after he brought forth Methushelah, Hanoḵ walked with Elohim three hundred years, and brought forth sons and daughters.

Gen 5:24  And Ḥano̱k walked with Elohim. Then he was no more, for Elohim took him.

Gen 6:9  This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, perfect in his generations. Noaḥ walked with Elohim.

Gen 17:1  And it came to be when Aḇram was ninety-nine years old, that יהוה appeared to Aḇram and said to him, “I am Ěl Shaddai – walk before Me and be perfect.

Did you notice the close personal relationship in each case? It is a close, intimate relationship with our Creator.

Fear  H3372 – יראyârêBDB Definition: 1) to fear, revere, be afraid 1a) (Qal) 1a1) to fear, be afraid 1a2) to stand in awe of, be awed 1a3) to fear, reverence, honour, respect

Pro 1:7  The fear of יהוה is the beginning of knowledge.

Pro 9:10  The fear of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Set-apart One is understanding.

Mat 10:28  “And do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the being. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both being and body in Gehenna.

Guard – H8104 – שׁמר – shâmarBDB Definition: 1) to keep, guard, observe, give heed 1a) (Qal) 1a1) to keep, have charge of 1a2) to keep, guard, keep watch and ward, protect, save life 1a2a) watch, watchman (participle) 1a3) to watch for, wait for 1a4) to watch, observe

Eze 3:17  “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Yisra’ĕl. And you shall hear a word from My mouth, and shall warn them from Me.

Eze 33:1  And the word of יהוה came to me, saying,

Eze 33:2  “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and you shall say to them, ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land shall take a man from their borders and shall make him their watchman,

Eze 33:3  and he sees the sword coming upon the land, and shall blow the ram’s horn and shall warn the people,

Eze 33:4  then whoever shall hear the sound of the ram’s horn and shall not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood is on his own head.

Eze 33:5  ‘He heard the sound of the ram’s horn, but he did not take warning, his blood is on himself. But he who takes warning shall deliver his being.

Eze 33:6  But if the watchman sees the sword coming and shall not blow the ram’s horn, and the people shall not be warned, and the sword comes and takes any being from among them, he is taken away in his crookedness, and his blood I require at the watchman’s hand.’

Eze 33:7  “And you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Yisra’ĕl. And you shall hear a word from My mouth and you shall warn them for Me.

Hos_9:8 Elohim’s watchman over you, Ephrayim, is the prophet, but a trapper’s snare is in all his ways. Enmity is in the House of his Elohim.

Mic_7:4  The best of them is like a prickly plant, the most straight is sharper than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchman and your punishment has come, now is their confusion.

The following verses of scripture we know well: Mat_24:42  Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Master is coming.

Mat_25:13  Watch therefore, because you do not know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Aḏam is coming,

But what about this one? Mat_26:41  Watch and pray, lest you enter into trial. The spirit indeed is eager, but the flesh is weak.” Let’s think about this a little more: Deut. 13:3 for יהוה your Elohim is trying you to know whether you love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being.

2Th 2:11  And for this reason Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood, in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth, but have delighted in the unrighteousness.

Obey H8085 – שָׁמַע – shâma‛shaw-mah’: A primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience. We have discussed shama’ before, to hear with obedience.

Serve – H5647 – עָבַד – ‛âbadaw-bad’ –  A primitive root; to work (in any sense); by implication to serve, till, (causatively) enslave, etc.: – X be, keep in bondage, be bondmen, bond-service, a husbandman.

Exo 21:5  “And if the servant truly says, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children, let me not go out free,’

Exo 21:6  then his master shall bring him before Elohim, and shall bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl. And he shall serve him forever.

Joh 10:7  יהושע therefore said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

Joh 10:8  “All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

Joh 10:9  I am the door. Whoever enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and shall go out and find pasture.

Remember, there is no Hebrew word for coincidence.

ClingH1692 – דָּבַק – dâbaqdaw-bak’ – A primitive root; properly to impinge, that is, cling or adhere; figuratively to catch by pursuit: ((The Greek for this word is G2853 – κολλάω – kollaōkol-lah’-o – From κόλλα kolla (“glue”); to glue, that is, (passively or reflexively) to stick (figuratively): – cleave, join (self), keep company.))

Gen 2:24  For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Psa 119:31  I have clung to Your witnesses; O יהוה, do not put me to shame!

1Co 6:16  Or do you not know that he who is joined to a whore is one body? For He says, “The two shall become one flesh.”

1Co 6:17  And he who is joined to the Master is one spirit.

Verse 5 – “because he has spoken apostasy against יהוה your Elohim” H5627 – סָרָה – sârâhsaw-raw’ From H5493; apostasy, crime; figuratively remission: – X continual, rebellion, revolt ([-ed]), turn away, wrong.

Isa 31:6  Turn back to Him from whom the children of Yisra’ĕl have deeply fallen away.

Isa 59:13  transgressing, and being untrue to יהוה, and turning away from our Elohim, speaking oppression and apostasy, conceiving and pondering words of falsehood from the heart.

Jer 28:16  “Therefore thus said יהוה, ‘See, I am sending you away from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, for you have spoken apostasy against יהוה.’ ”

Jer 28:17  And Hananyah the prophet died the same year, in the seventh month.

Verse 5 (cont’d) – “to make you stray from the way in which יהוה your Elohim commanded you to walk.” Remember the meaning of the word walk above? That deeply close personal relationship that Adam and Eve had in the Garden with their Creator. That close personal relationship that Hanok had with YHVH and that close relationship that Noah had with YHVH, so much so, that only Noah and his family were spared from the flood. And, the special relationship that Abram had with YHVH that YHVH gave him a NEW NAME, Abraham, which included a letter from YHVH’s own Name.

Rev 2:17  “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I shall give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I shall give him a white stone, and on the stone a renewed Name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’

“Stray from the way” – H1870 – דֶּרֶךְderekdeh’-rek – From H1869; a road (as trodden); figuratively a course of life or mode of action, The Greek word employed here is G3598 – hodos

Mat 7:13  “Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide – and the way is broad – that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in through it.

Mat 7:14  “Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Mat 22:16  And they sent to Him their taught ones with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of Elohim in truth, and it does not concern You about anyone, for You are not partial to any man.

Joh 14:6  יהושע said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Act 19:9  But when some were hardened and did not believe, speaking evil of the Way before the crowd, he withdrew from them and separated the taught ones, reasoning daily in the school of Turannos.

Act_16:17  Having followed Sha’ul and us, she cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High Elohim, who proclaim to us the way of deliverance.”

Act_18:25  This one had been instructed in the way of the Master. And being fervent in spirit, he was speaking and teaching the matters about the Master exactly, though he knew only the immersion of Yoḥanan.

2Pe 2:21  For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the set-apart command ((Please see Note)) delivered unto them.

Rev 15:3  And they sing the song of Mosheh the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvellous are Your works, יהוה Ěl Shaddai! Righteous and true are Your ways, O Sovereign of the set-apart ones!

NOTE: Command is used as a singular-plural in the form of deer, cannon. It is done this way many times in the Scriptures.

Yes, YHVH’s WAY(s) are Torah! Does modern Christianity keep Torah? Why not? Who instructed us to not keep Torah? Were we warned that someone would come and tell us not to keep Torah? Yes! Right here in Deb. 13:5. Where else?

Dan 7:23  “This is what he said, ‘The fourth beast is the fourth reign on earth, which is different from all other reigns, and it devours all the earth, tramples it down and crushes it.

Dan 7:24  ‘And the ten horns are ten sovereigns from this reign. They shall rise, and another shall rise after them, and it is different from the first ones, and it humbles three sovereigns,

Dan 7:25  and it speaks words against the Most High, and it wears out the set-apart ones of the Most High, and it intends to change appointed times and law, and they are given into its hand for a time and times and half a time.

Why is the fourth reign different from all the other kingdoms? Because it is spiritual not military.

It blasphemes YHVH. It persecutes those that serve YHVH in the Way. It does away with the feast Days of YHVH in Leviticus 23 and also the sabbatical and Jubilee years. And, it does away with the laws, TORAH of Elohim.

Rev 13:5  And he was given a mouth speaking great matters and blasphemies, and he was given authority to do so forty-two months.

Rev 13:6  And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against Elohim, to blaspheme His Name, and His Tent, and those dwelling in the heaven.

Rev 13:7  And it was given to him to fight with the set-apart ones and to overcome them. And authority was given to him over every tribe and tongue and nation.

Did someone tell us not to keep Torah? Did they have authority? Did they tell us that we didn’t need God’s laws but all we needed was faith? Why didn’t Sha’ul warn us? He did.

2Th 2:1  As to the coming of our Master יהושע Messiah and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, brothers,

2Th 2:2  not to become easily unsettled in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as if the day of יהוה has come.

2Th 2:3  Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessness is to be revealed, the son of destruction,

2Th 2:4  who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshipped, so that he sits as Elohim in the Dwelling Place of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim.

2Th 2:5  Do you not remember that I told you this while I was still with you?

2Th 2:6  And now you know what restrains, for him to be revealed in his time.

2Th 2:7  For the secret of lawlessness is already at work – only until he who now restrains comes out of the midst.

2Th 2:8  And then the lawless one shall be revealed, whom the Master shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth and bring to naught with the manifestation of His coming.

Exo 12:49  [3lawG3551 2oneG1520 1There shall be]G1510.8.3 to theG3588 native inhabitant,G1472.2 andG2532 to the one G3588 coming forwardG4334 to convertG4339 amongG1722 you.G1473

Look at the word for “law” in Greek – G3551 – nomos. Now look at it in Hebrew: Exo 12:49  OneH259 lawH8451 shall beH1961 to him that is homeborn, H249 and unto the strangerH1616 that sojourneth H1481 among H8432 you.

H8451 – Torah: H8451 – תֹּרָה תּוֹרָה – tôrâh  tôrâhto-raw’, to-raw’ – From H3384; a precept or statute, especially the Decalogue or Pentateuch: – law.

Sha’ul did warn us but Hasatan had to hide it so everyone would not see it that did not have a love of the Truth, Yeshua, who was sent to turn His people back to following the Way of Elohim. ((Mat. 5:17-48)). Look what Sha’ul says in 2 Thes. 2:7 above:  For the secret of lawlessness is already at work. It is a secret!! Now, who told you not to keep Torah? Now you know the answer for this: Mat 7:21  “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens.

Mat 7:22  “Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’

Mat 7:23  “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!

The desire of His Father in Heaven is for us to walk in His Way and forget Torah. Calling on the Name is not enough. We must walk in His narrow Way, just as Yeshua did.

Verses 6-10 – Do not even listen to your brother, sister, mother, son friend anyone if, they tell you you do not have to keep YHVH’s Way. Yeshua warned us in several places: Mat 24:5  “For many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they shall lead many astray.

If the came in His Name and said that He was the Messiah how could they lead people astray?

Mat 5:18  “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.

Has Heaven passed away? Has the Earth passed away? Two very clear signs from Yeshua to tell if Torah had been done away with.

Verse 11 – “Hear and Fear” “Shama and Yaray”. We have been warned.

Verses 12-17 – What do we hear today? “God hates the sin but loves the sinners.” Think again.

Verse 18 – Do what is right in the eyes of Elohim, not our own eyes. How do we know if we have perfect eyesight, doing what is right in YHVH’s eyes and not our own?

Eze 20:20  ‘And set apart My Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, to know that I am יהוה your Elohim.’

20/20 eyesight!

Don’t forget to read Eze. 20:19 also.

What is YHVH’s sign? Exo 13:9  “And it shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah of יהוה is to be in your mouth, for with a strong hand יהוה has brought you out of Mitsrayim.

Exo 13:16  “And it shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand יהוה brought us out of Mitsrayim.”

Deu 6:8  and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

Deu 11:18  ‘And you shall lay up these Words of Mine in your heart and in your being, and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

Isn’t it odd that YHVH’s mark is on the hand and forehead just like the mark of the beast, you know, that spiritual kingdom mentioned in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13?

So, if YHVH’s mark is keeping His Commands, His Sabbaths, His Words, His Laws, His Right-rulings, what would the mark of the beast be?

Ahavah vberakhot,

Lesson date: 09/07/5857AA

Chapter 13 looks pretty simple but, I bet I can make it more difficult. It cautions us that anyone, anyone at all, whether or not they are a prophet or a dreamer of dreams tries to entice people to follow another god other than YHVH the Most High Elohim should be put to death. That is pretty simple.

H5030 – נביא – nâbı̂y’BDB Definition: 1) spokesman, speaker, prophet 1a) prophet 1b) false prophet

1c) heathen prophet

H2492 – חלם – châlamBDB Definition: 1) to dream 1a) (Qal) 1a1) to dream (ordinary) 1a2) to dream (prophetic) 1a3) to dream (of false prophets)

H2472 – חלם / חלום – chălômBDB Definition: 1) dream 1a) dream (ordinary) 1b) dream (with prophetic meaning)

H226 – אות – ‘ôthBDB Definition:1) sign, signal 1a) a distinguishing mark 1b) banner 1c) remembrance 1d) miraculous sign 1e) omen 1f) warning 2) token, ensign, standard, miracle, proof

Here is the situation, I’ll use myself as an example: If I predict that on such and such day that an asteroid is going to crash into Washington D.C. and, it happens, that makes me correct in my prophecy. But if following that, I tell everyone who will listen that you can have the same power if you simply follow my instruction into “The Force” or the “Universal One” instead of following that old, outdated and obsolete Torah, you would know that I am a false prophet. You would be obligated by what you read here to take me to the edge of town and stone me dead. Dead, dead.

Now, ask yourself this, has this ever happened? If so, who told you not to follow the old, outdated, obsolete Torah? Think about this real hard and be careful of your answer. This should be our proof text.

Mat 21:33 “Hear another parable: There was a certain man, a householder (Jn 14:2) who planted a vineyard and placed a hedge around it, and dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. And he leased (Covenant/Contract) it to farmers and went abroad.

Mat 21:34 “And when the season of the fruits drew near, he sent his servants(Prophets) to the farmers, to receive its fruit. ((When is the season of the fruit harvests?))

Mat 21:35 “And the farmers took his servants and beat one, and they killed one, and they stoned another.

Mat 21:36 “Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them.

Mat 21:37 “And at last he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They shall respect my son.’ (Yeshu’a Messiah)

Mat 21:38 “But when the farmers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and let us possess his inheritance.’ ((We can keep our phoney baloney jobs.))

Mat 21:39 “And they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. ((The Mt. Of Offence))

Mat 21:40 “Therefore, when the master of the vineyard comes, what shall he do to those farmers?”

Mat 21:41 They said to Him, “Evil ones! He shall bring them to evil destruction, and lease (Covenant) the vineyard to other farmers who shall give to him the fruits in their seasons.((Also Isa 5:1-7))

Okay? Let’s look at the next one: Mat 22:1 And יהושע responded and spoke to them again by parables and said,

Mat 22:2 “The reign of the heavens is like a man, a sovereign, who made a wedding feast for his son,

((When is the time of the wedding feast)? How close is it to the time of the fruit harvest?))

Mat 22:3 and sent out his servants (Prophets) to call those who were invited to the wedding feast. But they would not come.

Mat 22:4 “Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Say to those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle are slaughtered, and all is ready. Come to the wedding feast.” ’

Mat 22:5 “But they disregarded it and went their way – this one to his field, that one to his trade.

Mat 22:6 “And the rest, having seized his servants, insulted and killed them.

Mat 22:7 “But when the sovereign heard, he was wroth, and sent out his soldiers, destroyed those murderers, and set their city (Jerusalem) on fire.

Mat 22:8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast, indeed, is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

Mat 22:9 Therefore go into the street corners (Goyim), and as many as you find, invite to the wedding feast.’

Mat 22:10 “And those servants went out into the street corners and gathered all whom they found, both wicked and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.

Mat 22:11 “And when the sovereign came in to view the guests, he saw there a man who had not put on a wedding garment,

Mat 22:12 and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not having a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.

Mat 22:13 “Then the sovereign said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him out into the outer darkness – there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Mat 22:14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

I have given these two parables to show you how Yeshu’a referred to the same situation as found in Deb. 13. Someone had deceived the farmers into not following the covenant they had with the householder and the sovereign. Each time, the Householder/Sovereign sent His servants, the prophets, to call the people back to repentance, call them back to Torah. Here is just one example but there are many more in all the prophets: Eze 20:18 “And I said to their children in the wilderness, ‘Do not walk in the laws of your fathers, nor observe their rulings, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

Eze 20:19 I am יהוה your Elohim. Walk in My laws, and guard My right-rulings, and do them.

Eze 20:20 And set apart My Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, to know that I am יהוה your Elohim.’

Eze 20:21 “But the children rebelled against Me. They did not walk in My laws, and My right-rulings they did not guard to do them, which, if a man does, he shall live by them. They profaned My Sabbaths, so I resolved to pour out My wrath on them to complete My displeasure against them in the wilderness.

H226 – אות – ‘ôthBDB Definition: 1) sign, signal 1a) a distinguishing mark. Where does this mark go? Exo_13:9 “And it shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah of יהוה is to be in your mouth, for with a strong hand יהוה has brought you out of Mitsrayim.

Exo_13:16 “And it shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand יהוה brought us out of Mitsrayim.”

Deu_6:8 and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

Deu_11:18 And you shall lay up these Words of Mine in your heart and in your being, and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

Seems like there is someone else who has a mark on the hands and foreheads of his people:  Rev 13:16 And he causes all, both small and great, and rich and poor, and free and slave, to be given a mark upon their right hand or upon their foreheads,

Rev 13:17 and that no one should be able to buy or sell except he that has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Which beast is this? Is it the fourth and final beast? What does the Book of Daniel say about the Fourth Beast? Dan 7:25 and it speaks words against the Most High, and it wears out the set-apart ones of the Most High, and it intends to change appointed times and law, and they are given into its hand for a time and times and half a time.

Interesting, is it? Surely, this has not happened, right? We are till waiting for this to happen. Nope.

TEM’PORAL, a. [L. temporalis, from tempus, time.]

1. Pertaining to this life or this world or the body only; secular; as temporal concerns; temporal affairs. In this sense, it is opposed to spiritual. Let not temporal affairs or employments divert the mind from spiritual concerns, which are far more important.

In this sense also it is opposed to ecclesiastical; as temporal power, that is, secular, civil or political power; temporal courts, those which take cognizance of civil suits. Temporal jurisdiction is that which regards civil and political affairs.

2. Measured or limited by time, or by this life or this state of things; having limited existence; opposed to eternal.

Is there anyone that you could possibly imagine that would be so brazen as to claim ALL temporal powers, up and including time itself and how it is measured?

Eze 20:20 And set apart My Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, to know that I am יהוה your Elohim.’

A proof of our faith is that we keep His Moedim, His Sabbaths, not man’s. Who told us not to keep YHVH’s Sabbaths?

We keep the Leviticus 23 feasts/Sabbaths as a sign between YHVH and ourselves. It is our mark that we are one of His. We keep His Weekly Sabbath as a sign and we keep His Torah as a sign of obedience to our Father. No one can change that and do they knew what will happen to them? Mat 22:13 “Then the sovereign said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him out into the outer darkness – there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Rev 22:14 “Blessed are those doingb His commands,c so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city. Footnotes: bSee Mat_19:17. cLong before the books were compiled to form “The New Testament,” Rev_22:14 was quoted, as it is here given, by Tertullian (CE 208), and by Cyprian (CE 251) – see the well-known Antenicene Fathers.

Rev 22:15 “But outside (Darkness) are the dogs ((Goyim = Gentles/Nations/Heathens/Pagans)) and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood. ((Falsehood = lies))

I don’t usually leave footnotes in unless it greatly adds to the meaning of Scripture and in this case it does.

Falsehood = Lies = Jer_16:19 O יהוה, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress the nations ((goyim/Gentiles/Heathens/Pagans)) shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited only falsehood, futility, and there is no value in them.”

((Day of distress is also referred to as, “the Lord’s Day”: (KJV) Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

((In other words John was meditating on the Lord’s Day or The day of YHVH found in the following Scriptures: Isa_13:6, Isa_13:9, Eze_13:5, Joe_1:15, Joe_2:1, Joe_2:11, Joe_2:31, Joe_3:14, Amo_5:16-20, Oba_1:15, Zep_1:7, Zep_1:14, Mal_4:5, Act_2:20, 1Th_5:2, 2Th_2:2, 2Pe_3:10.))

Deu 8:1 “Guard to do every command which I command you today, that you might live, and shall increase, and go in, and shall possess the land of which יהוה swore to your fathers.

Deu 8:2 “And you shall remember that יהוה your Elohim led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, prove you, to know what is in your heart, whether you guard His commands or not.

I am so sorry that my OCD kicked in again but there is definitely one more thing I want to touch on in this study and that is Verse 13: Deu 13:13 Some men, sons of Beliya‛al, have gone out of your midst and led the inhabitants of their city astray, saying, “Let us go and serve other mighty ones” ’ – mighty ones whom you have not known –

H1100 – בּליּעל – belı̂ya‛alBDB Definition: 1) worthlessness 1a) worthless, good for nothing, unprofitable, base fellow 1b) wicked 1c) ruin, destruction: Beli/ya’al comes from 2 words. The first is H1097 and and the second is H3276. Let’s look at them separately first and then put them together:

H1097 – בּלי – belı̂yBDB Definition: 1) wearing out (substantive) 2) without, no, not (adverb of negation)

H3276 – יעל – ya‛alBDB Definition: 1) (Hiphil) to gain, profit, benefit, avail ((probably Southern Hebrew, ya’ll.))

Jer 16:19 O יהוה, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited only falsehood, futility, and there is no value in them. ((H3276 – ya’al – no profit.))

Alright, remember, “beliy” is negative and “ya’al” is to gain or profit also, benefit or avail. These have positive connotations as found here: Isa 48:17 Thus said יהוה, your Redeemer, the Set-apart One of Yisra’ěl, “I am יהוה your Elohim, teaching you what is best, leading you by the way you should go.

Here “ya’al” is used as what is best or profitable. I highlighted teaching because I want to show you something in the paleo-Hebrew. For those of you who are new joining us, we study Pictographic-Hebrew, that Mosheh would have used, Paleo-Hebrew that David would have used, block form Aramaic thatEzra learned in Babylon and changed the old Hebrew to Aramaic and lastly modern block form Hebrew: Neh 8:5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was above all the people. And when he opened it, all the people stood up.

Neh 8:6 And Ezra blessed יהוה, the great Elohim. Then all the people answered, “Aměn, Aměn!” while lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshipped יהוה with faces to the ground.

Neh 8:7 And Yěshua, and Bani, and Shěrěḇyah, Yamin, Aqquḇ, Shabbethai, Hoḏiyah, Ma‛asěyah, Qelita, Azaryah, Yozaḇaḏ, Ḥanan, Pelayah, and the Lěwites, caused the people to understand the Torah while the people were in their place.

Neh 8:8 And they read in the Book of the Torah of Elohim, translating to give the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

The language had changed so much in 70 years of exile that, those who had not gone into exile, could not understand what Ezra was reading in the “new” Aramaic style of Hebrew instead of the paleo style.

I must apologize but Pictographic is often called Hysos language by some scholars but they do not understand that the words Hysos Kings means Shepherd Kings ((Flavius Josephus calls them Shepherd Kings as well.)). This is a completely different study that was presented at Sukkot 3 years ago: Gen 46:31 And Yosěph said to his brothers and to his father’s household, “I am going up to inform Pharaoh, and say to him, ‘My brothers and those of my father’s house, who were in the land of Kena‛an, have come to me.

Gen 46:32 And the men are shepherds, that they have been men of livestock, and they have brought their flocks and their herds, and all that they have.’

Gen 46:33 “And it shall be, when Pharaoh calls you and says, ‘What is your occupation?’

Gen 46:34 that you shall say, ‘Your servants have been men of livestock from our youth even till now, both we and also our fathers,’ so that you dwell in the land of Goshen, for every shepherd is an abomination to the Mitsrites.”

Okay, back to the word for teaching in Isa. 48:17: H3925 – למד – lâmadBDB Definition: 1) to learn. teach, exercise in 1a) (Qal) to learn 1b) (Piel) to teach 1c) (Pual) to be taught, be trained

LaMaD = L/M/D/

l = the shepherd, authority, to move to or toward
M = water, mighty, nations, washing cleansing, peoples
d = tent flap or door, door to the house, to swing back and forth, dangle or hanging

The Shepherd Cleanses the peoples(Nations/goyim) at the Door of the House.

There is a lot more in this chapter and I will depend upon you to bring out these points I just wanted to show you what was jumping off the page at me.

Ahavah,
