Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26 — Sabbatical and Jubilee Cycles

Lesson date: 9/12/5856AA

This chapter should be named “The consequences of Obedience/Disobedience”. Many times in Scripture we find that we are given a choice, to either obey or rebel. ((Often called the Two Ways in the Didache)) This one chapter lays out the consequences of both in detail. Before getting into a breakdown of the chapter notice two things: first, it does not begin by saying, “And YHVH spoke to Mosheh saying” and the reason for that is that it is a continuation of Chapter 25 and second, it only takes 13 verses to tell how YHVH will bless us if we are obedient. Actually, it only takes 11 but the warning as to the consequences of disobedience begins in verse 14 and verses one and two of 26 are just continuing the thought of 25.

The Parasha begins in verse 3 and is named Behuqqqotai – בְּחֻקֹּתַי – From H2708 – Huqqah – something prescribed, a statute, fixed order. This comes from the root H2710 – huqaq – to engrave, to cut in, to inscribe. In other words He will engrave this upon our stony hearts, to chisel it in.

Verse 1 – Making idols – Please note that this verse of Scripture makes it plain that making an idol is not the same thing as making a carving image.

Make = H6213 – עָשָׂה – ‛âśâhaw-saw‘ – (To do or make in the broadest sense) bestow, appoint, fashion, commit, to be occupied, observe, perform, sacrifice. ((Isn’t this odd?))

Idols = H457 – אֱלִיל – ‘ĕlı̂ylel-eel‘ – Apparently from H408; good for nothing, by analogy vain or vanity; specifically an idol: – idol, no value, thing of nought.

Let me try this again with our new definitions: Do not bestow, observe or sacrifice for yourselves things that are good for nothing, of no value and that are a thing of nought.

How many people do you know that can give you the winning teams and scores of every Super Bowl game but not quote one Scripture? How many people do you know that can quote pages of plays, TV shows or entire dialogues of movies ((yours truly)) but don’t know the 10 Words, much less where to find them in Scripture? Who made them do this? Watching((sacrificing their time)) movies hour after hour until they ((I)) had the entire movie memorized?

Notice that every act named under Make above is voluntary. No one made me do those things, they are things that I chose to do. Did I spend as much time reading the Word as I did watching John Wayne movies? On Judgement Day will quoting dialog from The Quiet Man answer the question “Daryl, what have you done for Me? Nope! It is a thing of nought, good for nothing. I can’t help but to think of the KJV Bible but I don’t know how to express it. If it brings His Name to nought isn’t it a thing of nought? I don’t know.

Jas 4:13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow, let us go to such and such a city, spend a year there, and trade, and make a profit,”

Jas 4:14 when you do not know of tomorrow. For what is your life? For it is a vapour that appears for a little, and then disappears –

Jas 4:15 instead of your saying, “If the Master desires, we shall live and do this or that.”

How much of my life have I wasted with “things of nought”? How many people on their death bed wish they could spend one more day at work?

Php 2:12 So that, my beloved, as you always obeyed – not only in my presence, but now much rather in my absence – work out your own deliverance with fear and trembling,

Php 2:13 for it is Elohim who is working in you both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.

Verse 2 – Guard (H853) My Sabbaths. Guard – H8104 – shamar – guard, heed, observe, keep.

Reverence My set-apart place. Reverence – H3372 – yare (yaray) – fear, be afraid, stand in awe, revere

Psa 111:10 Rěsh The fear of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom,

The reason this verse begins with Resh is to call our attention to the first Hebrew word in the Scripture which is the word for beginning – Bereshith. Remember the bet is a prefix, the root word is reyshith, you know, First Fruits. In Bereshith 1:1 it is translated “In the beginning”. ((Wow! I went on a 2 hour journey here. Forgive me.)

Verse 3 – (“Where’s the beef?”) – The meat is right here. Let’s break it down. IF, the biggest two letter word in the English language is also a two letter Hebrew word – H518 – אם – ‘im – BDB Definition: 1) if.

If what? Walk – H1980 – הלך – hâlak – BDB Definition: 1) to go, walk, come

Guard – H8104 – shamar – guard, keep

Do – H6213 – עשׂה – ‛âśâh – BDB Definition: 1) to do, fashion, accomplish, make

There is one more responsibility that I want to add that is not here – hear – H8085 – שׁמע – shâma‛ – BDB Definition: 1) to hear, listen to, obey (verb)

We are supposed to: hear – guard – do – walk. How do we walk? Mic 6:8 He has declared to you, O man, what is good. And what does יהוה require of you but to do right, and to love loving-commitment, and to walk humbly with your Elohim?

1Jn 2:6 The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.

Now, see how they go together:

Deu 5:1 And Mosheh called all Yisra’ěl, and said to them, “Hear, O Yisra’ěl, the laws and right-rulings which I speak in your hearing today. And you shall learn them, and guard to do them.

Deu 6:3 “And you shall hear, O Yisra’ěl, and shall guard to do, that it might be well with you, and that you increase greatly as יהוה Elohim of your fathers has spoken to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.

Deu 7:12 “And it shall be, because you hear these right-rulings, and shall guard and do them, that יהוה your Elohim shall guard with you the covenant and the loving-commitment which He swore to your fathers,

Deu 31:12 “Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and your sojourner who is within your gates, so that they hear, and so that they learn to fear יהוה your Elohim and guard to do all the Words of this Torah.

Only then can we walk in His Ways: Psa_128:1 Blessed are all who fear יהוה, Who walk in His ways.

Verses 4-13 – Yah’s Blessing – After having kept several Sukkot celebrations we now know that we are to expect rain in reward for being faithful to keeping Yah’s Commands. What is so important about the rain? Without rain we cannot expect the seeds planted to sprout, the growing plant to flourish, the green plant to remain green and the seed head of the grains to fill out. You do not know, unless you have farmed, the disappointment of seeing beautiful green plants that produce little or know grain/fruit. It is heartbreaking.

Jer_5:24 And they do not say in their heart, “Let us now fear יהוה our Elohim, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season. He guards for us, the required-by-law, weeks of the harvest.”’

Joe_2:23 And you children of Tsiyon, be glad and rejoice in יהוה your Elohim, for He shall give you the Teacher of Righteousness, and cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain, as before.

H4175 – מורה – môreh – BDB Definition: 1) (early) rain 2) teacher. The translators didn’t or chose not to see that the wisdom of the Teacher rains down on His pupils, His taught ones. We want, we desire, no, we need the rain from our Teacher of Righteousness. From where does righteousness originate? The Torah of YHVH. ((We will talk about this more.))

Can you imagine a land that yields the maximum yield in its own season. Halellu-Yah!!! It reminds me of Year 6 in the sabbatical cycle and even the produce of the land in Year 7. We did not sow, plant, till, dress or reap but we had more than enough for ourselves and others and we did nothing to earn it other than to be faithful to the commands.

Verses 5-9 – Eat your bread until you have enough, dwell in your land safely, have peace in the land, lie down and no one make you afraid, no evil beasts and no sword(war). In the words of our sister Sharon Wow! Wow! Wow! Plenty to eat, live in safety because there is peace and do not have to fear evil beasts or war. I am almost 66 years old and I have known such a time in my lifetime.

First WWI in the 191x’ and WWII in the 193x-45 and Korea in the early 50’s and then Vietnam in the late 50’s through the 60’s and into the 70’s. Then Iraq in the 90’s and Afghanistan in the 2000’s along with more war in Iraq, Syria, Lybia, etc. We have not known peace in 100+ years. We have known floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, i.e. the Dust Bowl years.

What about “victory in battle” (verses 7-8)? The last war that we won was WWII. Korea was a stalemate and ended in an armistice. Vietnam ended in a treaty but we had to flee the country in haste in April 29th of 1975. Who won in Iraq? Who won in Afghanistan? Who won in Syria? Lybia? That isnot to mention the many other conflicts we have engaged in over the years. What about Kenosha? What about Portland, Oregon? Milwaukee? Chicago? We are a lawless nation and we must reap our reward.

Verse 10 – Get ready!!! ((Oops, another two hour detour, probably more like three.)) Let’s look at this in Hebrew and in Greek. Remember, the Hebrew concept for eat is to take in knowledge and understanding. With that in mind let’s dissect the Scripture.

H398 – אכל – ‘âkal – BDB Definition: 1) to eat, devour, burn up, feed 1a) (Qal) 1a1) to eat (human subject)

In the LXX it is the verb: G2068 – ἐσθίω – esthiō – Thayer Definition: 1) to eat 2) to eat (consume) a thing 2a) to take food, eat a meal 3) metaphorically to devour, consumeNow we can see the parallel between the Hebrew and the Greek. Now look at these verses: Rev 10:9 And I went to the messenger and said to him, “Give me the little book.” And he said to me, “Take and eat it, and it shall make your stomach bitter, but it shall be as sweet as honey in your mouth.”

Eze 3:1 And He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find, eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Yisra’ěl.”

Eze 3:2 And I opened my mouth, and He fed me the scroll.

G2719 – κατεσθίω – katesthiō – Thayer Definition: 1) to consume by eating, to eat up, devour 1a) of birds 1b) of a dragon 1c) of a man eating up the little book

Please note that in the Scriptures above the primary word is “katesthio” which comes from the Greek root word esthio which is G2068 which is the same word found in verse 10, “eat”.

What do we eat? The old store or supply. You know, that old store of food that will feed your spirit until the new supply or store comes in. In fact, until you eat the old and consume it and it becomes a visceral part of you, you are not mature enough to eat the “New” supply or store.  Lev 23:14 ‘And you do not eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your Elohim – a law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Until we completely consume the old store, supply, grain and make it a part of us we cannot begin to digest the “New” grain, store, supply. Anyone starting to feel like there may be a little prophetic moment here? Jer_31:31 “See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall make a renewed covenant with the house of Yisra’ěl and with the house of Yehuḏah,

Nowhere in this Scripture does it tell you to, “Throw out the old store, supply or grain because we have a New supply.” Just the opposite. You have to completely consume the old supply in order to be able to handle the “New”.

If you think this is only referring to grain please reread Verse 5b: And you shall eat your bread until you have enough, and shall dwell in your land safely.((Bread = Word))

Your Bread, the Word, until you have had enough for you to handle the “New”. Don’t take my word for it: Mat 13:52 And He said to them, “Therefore every scholar taught in the reign of the heavens is like a householder who brings out of his treasure matters, renewed and old.”

Who is a scholar of Scripture? Only really smart or really educated people with a title? No, it is you and I: Jer 6:16 Thus said יהוה, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and find rest for yourselves. But they said, ‘We do not walk in it.’

Jer 18:15 “But My people have forgotten Me, they have burned incense to what is false, and they have stumbled from their ways, from the ancient paths, to walk in bypaths and not on a highway,

Jer 18:16 to make their land become a ruin, a hissing forever – everyone who passes by it is appalled and shakes his head.

Verses 11-13 – YHVH’s bona fide. YHVH cannot lie. He tells us what He did for us. He brought us out of the Land of Mitzraim, out of the mystery religion and placed our feet firmly on His Path so that we can follow His Way and digest His Word until it becomes a part of us. Then, and only then can we BEGIN to consume the new. Lev 26:13 ‘I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from being their slaves. And I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk upright.

Slaves to what? Dogma, tradition, lies, deceit. Col 2:14 having blotted out that which was written by hand against us – by the dogmas – which stood against us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the stake.

Col 2:20 If, then, you died with Messiah from the elementary matters of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to dogmas:

Eph 2:14 For He is our peace, who has made both one, and having broken down the partition of the barrier,

Eph 2:1 having abolished in His flesh the enmity – the torah of the commands in dogma – so as to create in Himself one renewed man from the two, thus making peace,

So what is or what are dogmas? Look first to the Greek: G1378 – δόγμα – dogmadog’-mah – From the base of G1380; a law (civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical): – decree, ordinance.

ec·cle·si·as·ti·cal  (ĭ-klē′zē-ăstĭ-kəl) adj.

  1. Of or relating to a church, especially as an organized institution.
  2. Appropriate to a church or to use in a church: ecclesiastical architecture; ecclesiastical robes.

People are quick to point to Col. 2:14 as being proof that “Jesus” nailed the “law” to the “cross”, but compare the word used in Col. 2:14 to the word used in the KJV New Testament for law: G3551 – νόμος – nomosnom’-os – From a primary word νέμω nemō (to parcel out, especially food or grazing to animals); law (through the idea of prescriptive usage), generally (regulation), specifically (of Moses [including the volume]; also of the Gospel), or figuratively (a principle): – law.

This is not the same word nomos refers specifically to Torah, the 5 Books of Mosheh not dogma. No, dogma was heaped up on our shoulders by the church.

Church or men’s traditions, that is all it means: Isa 29:13 And יהוה says, “Because this people has drawn near with its mouth, and with its lips they have esteemed Me, and it has kept its heart far from Me, and their fear of Me has become a command of men that is taught!

Mar 7:8 “Forsaking the command of Elohim, you hold fast the tradition of men.

Mar 7:9 And He said to them, “Well do you set aside the command of Elohim, in order to guard your tradition.

Mar 7:10 “For Mosheh said, ‘Respect your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’

Mar 7:11 “But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me, is Qorban (that is, a gift),” ’

Mar 7:12 you no longer let him do any matter at all for his father or his mother,

Mar 7:13 nullifying the Word of Elohim through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such traditions you do.

People were being beaten down with their fear of “God” by men who wanted to control them, not by the Word of Elohim but by the traditions of men being taught as DOGMA/DOCTRINE. All of those very important debates like: “whether a Million of Angels may not fit upon a Needle’s point?” or what about the Rapture? Which Rapture, pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib? Replacement doctrine wherein Israel is replaced by an entity called the “church”. Where did the church come from? Where is it found in Scripture? What is its origin? Have you eaten all the “old” supply before you move onto the “new” supply?

Look at Wayyiqra 26:13b: And I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk upright.

The bars of our yoke are traditions. When the weight of an overbearing burden has been lifted off our shoulders we can now walk upright: Mat 11:29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble in heart, and you shall find rest for your beings.Mat 11:30 “For My yoke is gentle and My burden is light.

Speaking of the Pharisees Yeshua said: Mat 23:4 “For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders, but with their finger they do not wish to move them.

Please note the large thick bar that runs between both of the loops for the “beasts of burden”. That is the bar being spoken of in this context. We see it used again here: Eze 34:27 “And the trees of the field shall yield their fruit and the earth yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land. And they shall know that I am יהוה, when I have broken the bars of their yoke. And I shall deliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them,

Eze 34:28 and they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, and the beast of the earth shall not devour them. And they shall dwell safely, with no one to make them afraid.

Eze 34:29 “And I shall raise up for them a planting place of name, and they shall no longer be consumed by hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the nations any more.

Eze 34:30 “And they shall know that I, יהוה their Elohim, am with them, and that they, the house of Yisra’ěl, are My people,” declares the Master יהוה.’ ”

Verse 14-15 – “But if” – there is the “if” again. IF what? Do not obey – do not do – if you reject – you being loathes – do not do – break My covenant.

  • Obey – H8085 – shama – hear and obey.
  • Do – H6213 – ‘asah – do ((this word is followed by (H853))
  • Reject – H3988 – ma’as – reject, abhor, despise, refuse, cast away
  • Loathes – H1602 – ga’al – loathe, abhor, reject, defiled
  • Break – H6565 – parar – to break, frustrate, annul, nullify, do away with, make void, cease

These are strong words, fighting words, as we say in the South. (Actually we say “fightun'”).

Verse 16 – Here is where the “law” of reciprocity kicks in. “If you do this then I do this”. “I shall appoint sudden alarm over you. Does this look like peace?

Who is “pursuing them (Verse 17)? This looks like sudden alarm to me. If 1996 was the last Jubilee year and the beginning of the first cycle of warning then this would have to have happened before 2003, right?

What else will happen? Wasting disease. H7829 – שַׁחֶפֶת  – shachephethshakh-eh’-feth – From the same as H7828; emaciation: – consumption.

Wait a minute, these are all “Christian” nations. Why are so many dying of “wasting disease”?

What else will happen? Inflammation – H6920 – קַדַּחַת – qaddachathkad-dakh’-ath – From H6919; inflammation, that is, febrile disease: – burning ague, fever.

This could be anything but think about it we have so many different diseases that are treated with antibiotics that we have multiple strains of antibiotic resistant diseases, inflammation.

But wait, this inflammation will consume the eyes. What could this be? Look in your dictionaries at the definition of inflame, 1. To set on fire, kindle. 2. to arouse to strong emtion. 3. to make more violent, to intensify.

Hmm. Arouse, you mean like pornography, our largest export worldwide after weapons. In a recent survey over 50% of pastors in evangelical churches admitted to having an addiction to pornography. I am not saying that this is what it means, it is just an interesting coincidence. Another charateristic of this disease is that it consumes the life. Does it?

What else? Sow your seed in vain and your enemies shall eat it. Now, I have seen sacks upon sacks pallet upon pallet as far as the eye could see of Made in U.S.A. grain in foreign countries. Could this be what it means? Or, maybe something else – H2232 – זָרַע – zâra‛zaw-rah‘ – 1) to sow, scatter seed 1a) (Qal) 1a1) to sow 1a2) producing, yielding seed 1b) (Niphal) 1b1) to be sown 1b2) to become pregnant, be made pregnant

I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.

What else? You will be smitten before your enemies. Every night, when I was growing up, at 6PM you could turn on the TV and Walter Cronkite would give the weekly body count of Americans who had died in Vietnam, for the whole world to see. Maybe something like that?

And what else? Those who hate you will rule over you. You mean like governors and mayors who lockdown entire cities and states? Just a thought.

Now, here come the hard part: Lev 26:18 ‘And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I shall punish you seven times more for your sins. ((remember this phrase))

Break the pride of your power? What was the pride of our power in 1996? Made in America. We were the envy of the world. What happened? We entered into an agreement, you know, a covenant, with the rest of the world, many our former enemies like, Japan, Germany, China, Vietnam, etc. to diversify our “manufacturing base” abroad.

What else? Heavens like iron and earth like bronze. Wow, climate change. That’ll never happen right? But what do iron and bronze represent?

What else? Your strength shall be spent in vain. Your land won’t yield crops nor trees fruit. Has this happened?

Then what? I shall bring on you seven times more plagues,

Verse 22 – Surely there have been no wild beasts bereave us of our children right? The clue is in the word for beast – H2416 – it is rather broad, any living creature, even a man. Has anything like that happened.

What else? Cut off our livestock? That hasn’t happened, right? Make you few in number. We have 330 MN Americans, that’s a lot. Right? And your highways shall be desolate. Well, that ain’t gonna happen, right? Right?

Verses 23-24 – I Myself shall strike you seven times for your sins.

Verse – 25 – A sword executing vengeance. By golly ain’t nobody attacking ‘Murica! Land of the Free and home of the Brave, by golly. We have the Constitution. We have god-fearing politicians to represent us in Washington, D.C. Right? What it did not say was that your enemies are outside your borders.

What else? you shall gather together in your cities. That sounds familiar. Let’s see: Gen 47:20 And Yosěph bought the entire land of Mitsrayim for Pharaoh, because every man of the Mitsrites sold his field, because the scarcity of food was severe upon them. And the land came to be Pharaoh’s.

Gen 47:21 And as for the people, he moved them into the cities, from one end of the borders of Mitsrayim to the other end.

Why? So that they could be controlled better and receive their allotment of food. That’ll never happen in ‘Murica, right?

Recognize these?

Can’t happen in ‘Murica, right?

What else is in verse 25? and I shall send pestilence among you. That ain’t happening right? What does pestilence mean, let me see, oh, I get it “a fatal epidemic of disease.” We don’t have one of those. All we have is a pandemic. Hmm, let me look that up, “a widespread, over a large geographic area, epidemic.”

Did you notice that the pestilence comes during the cycle of the sword of vengeance, you know, War Cycle?

Well, what could be next? ‘When I have cut off your supply of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, There will such a food shortage that 10 women will be able to cook all that they have in one oven.

What else? Kind of scary just asking isn’t it? and they shall bring back to you your bread by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied

You’ll get your equal share and after you eat you will not be satisfied you will still be hungry and look for more food.

Verse – 28 – And I Myself shall punish you seven times for your sins.

Verse – 29 – ‘And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and eat the flesh of your daughters.

For the sake of argument, let’s try to put a timeline on all this, theoretically.

Theoretically.

There is much more to discuss especially, the cure for all of this but, this is too long already.

Slavery: Thinking the Unthinkable

Lesson date: 9/19/5856

In 1641 the Newsom family, yes, that is mine, came across the Atlantic from England and landed in Baltimore in what is now Maryland. From there they migrated to what was then known as the Carolina Plantation. The younger brother had sold himself, his wife and children into slavery to his older brother (both yeoman farmers). The law of the land required that slaves be given their freedom after 7 years of servitude. After 7 years the younger brother requested the freedom of himself and his family but was denied by his older brother. This resulted in a landmark decision in the fledgling colony of the Carolina Plantation. The younger brother and his family was granted freedom by the court for himself and his family plus back wages for time served in servitude. This is not the type of slavery we are going to talk about. We are going to talk about servitude so severe that you would eat your own children to survive. Have a nice day, here we go.

Verse 28: Lev 26:28 then I shall walk contrary to you in wrath. And I Myself shall punish you seven times for your sins.

Verse 29: Lev 26:29 ‘And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and eat the flesh of your daughters.

Last Shabbat Vickie ask me if this was literal or not. Without hesitating I replied, “Yes”. Why? Let’s look: 2Ki 6:28 And the sovereign said to her, “What is troubling you?” And she answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son and let us eat him today, and tomorrow we eat my son.’

2Ki 6:29 “So we cooked my son, and ate him. And I said to her on the next day, ‘Give your son and let us eat him.’ But she has hidden her son.”

2Ki 6:30 And it came to be, when the sovereign heard the words of the woman, that he tore his garments. And as he passed by on the wall, the people looked and saw the sackcloth on his body, underneath.

Lam 4:9 Better off were those pierced by the sword Than those pierced by hunger; For these pine away, Pierced through for lack of the fruits of the field.

Lam 4:10 The hands of the compassionate women Have boiled their own children; They became food for them In the destruction of the daughter of my people.

Eze 5:10 Therefore fathers are going to eat their sons in your midst, and sons eat their fathers. And I shall execute judgments among you and scatter all your remnant to all the winds.

Eze 5:11 Therefore, as I live,’ declares the Master יהוה, ‘because you have defiled My set-apart place with all your disgusting matters and with all your abominations, therefore I also withdraw. And My eye shall not pardon, nor shall I spare.

But, people say, we are too civilized, sophisticated to be reduced to such barbarism in this day and age: Mat 24:19 “And woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing children in those days!

Mat 24:20 “And pray that your flight does not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.

Mat 24:21 “For then there shall be great distress, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Mat 24:22 “And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the sake of the chosen ones those days shall be shortened.

Please note that the examples above are direct examples of cannibalism. This does not take into account the hundreds, possibly thousands of food flavor enhancers, sweeteners, cosmetics and vaccines that utilize aborted fetal tissue and to me this also is a form of “eating” or consuming children.

((Here is another example of meddling with children’s lives.))

The birth of Molly Everette Gibson broke a world record for the longest an embryo had been frozen before birth – a record previously held by Molly’s sister, Emma Wren Gibson.

Molly was frozen on October 14, 1992, then thawed by National Embryo Donation Center Lab Director & Embryologist Carol Sommerfelt on February 10, 2020 and transferred to Tina’s uterus by NEDC President & Medical Director Dr. Jeffrey Keenan on February 12, 2020.

We’re too intelligent, sophisticated to do it again?, right?

Please note that there are 5 warnings: verses 16-17; 18-20; 21-22; 23-26; 27-33 and each one is proceeded by “I shall“. We are not being punished by Hasatan but rather judged by our Creator for being disobedient to His Commands. We, Yisra’el, are the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) who has taken his inheritence and squandered it and now we are “scattered” among the nations far off and are now lying in the filth of the hogs, our “high-places” destroyed, cities in ruin, set-apart places destroyed or made worthless, killed/devoured our own children and for what reason? So, that our land can enjoy its Sabbaths. Has this ever happened before? Yes!  2Ch 36:17 Therefore He brought against them the sovereign of the Kasdim, and he killed their young men with the sword in the House of their set-apart place, and had no compassion on young man or maiden, on the aged or the weak – He gave all into his hand.

2Ch 36:18 And all the utensils from the House of Elohim, great and small, and the treasures of the House of יהוה, and the treasures of the sovereign and of his leaders, all these he brought to Baḇel.

2Ch 36:19 And they burned the House of Elohim, and broke down the wall of Yerushalayim, and burned all its palaces with fire, and destroyed all its valuable utensils.

2Ch 36:20 And those who escaped from the sword he exiled to Baḇel, where they became servants to him and his sons until the reign of the reign of Persia,

2Ch 36:21 in order to fill the word of יהוה by the mouth of Yirmeyahu, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. As long as she lay waste she kept Sabbath, until seventy years were completed.

Verses 33-35 – The land will get its Sabbath rest because it will be desolate. But the judgement doesn’t stop there.

Verses 36-39 – For those who are still alive, living in slavery, will also live in fear. They shall flee at the sound of a “shaken leaf” as if being pursued by the enemy once again. People will die in foreign countries, women ravished, children dead and survivors living in fear. Jer 16:19 O יהוה, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited only falsehood, futility, and there is no value in them.”

This is where the prodigal son wakes up in the pig pen when he realizes even the pigs eat better than he does and his father’s servants eat better than he does and there is only one thing left to do:

Verses 40-41 – True repentence. Repentence born of hopelessness, desolation and humility: 2Ch 7:14 and My people upon whom My Name is called, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I shall hear from the heavens, and forgive their sin and heal their land.

Will Yisra’el wake up? Will it repent? If Yisra’el repents of its sin of forgetting Yah’s covenant, His Laws, His Right-Rulings, His Torot…

Verses 42-45 He will remember His Covenant with His people. Not the “New” Covenant but the First Covenant: Gal 3:27 For as many of you as were immersed into Messiah have put on Messiah.

Gal 3:28 There is not Yehuḏi nor Greek, there is not slave nor free, there is not male and female, for you are all one in Messiah יהושע.

Gal 3:29 And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Aḇraham, and heirs according to promise.

But will Yisra’el wake up? Seven times more, seven times more than what? Is there a clue here? Let’s look: Eze 4:3 “Then take an iron plate, and set it as an iron wall between you and the city. And you shall set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. It is a sign to the house of Yisra’ěl.

Eze 4:4 “And lie on your left side, and you shall put the crookedness of the house of Yisra’ěl on it. As many days as you lie on it, you shall bear their crookedness.

Eze 4:5 “For I Myself have laid on you the years of their crookedness, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days. And you shall bear the crookedness of the house of Yisra’ěl.

Num_14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

Eze_4:6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.

A day for a year. Yisra’el will be gone 390 years. But if this is true what about Yehudah? Eze 4:6 “And when you have completed them, you shall lie again on your right side and shall bear the crookedness of the house of Yehuḏah forty days, a day for a year. I have laid on you a day for a year.

Did Yehudah only spend 40 years in captivity or did it spend 70? It spent 70 years total so, what do the 40 days mean? Simple, it is just math: Eze 1:1 And it came to be in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth of the new moon, as I was among the exiles by the River Keḇar, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of Elohim.

Christian scholars believe this is talking about Ezekiel’s age but it is not. It is the number of years they have been in captivity just like the Jews counted their dispersal from the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D. “This is the grave of Mousis, son of Marsa, who died in the third year of the sabbatical cycle, in the month of Kislev, on the 27th day of it, which is the year 290 after the destruction of the Temple.

290 + 70 = 360 A.D. This is an example of a tombstone found at the ancient city of Tsoar, at the southern end of the Dead Sea, mostly located in Jordan. It shows that the Jews and some Greeks among them counted time from the destruction of the temple.

30 + 40 = 70 years. What about Yisra’el? When will the 390 years expire? The 390 years expired in 331 B.C. Yisra’el did not repent. Ninevah repented and lasted until it was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar but Yisra’el, as a whole did not repent. Judgement was executed against Yisra’el 7 times more for its failure to repent: 7 x 390 = 2730 years. Yisra’el was destroyed as a nation about 722 B.C. 2730 – 722 = 2008 A.D. Has Yisra’el repented since 2008 A.D.? We are beginning to. And, as we repent we now realize that like Jer. 16:19 “Our fathers have inherited only falsehood, futility, and there is no value in them.”

We have been taught lies, fables, that Yisra’el has been replaced by the “church” and we are now under the “doctrine”/dogma of “grace” and that YHVH’s eternal Covenant has been done away with or set aside so that “grace” may abound.

Teshuva is the Hebrew word for repentence, it comes from H7725 – שׁוּב – shûbshoob– A primitive root; to turn back. To turn back through repentance is the old Hebrew expression. There is a parable that says “you should repent one day before you die. And how do you know when you will die? You don’t so, repent today.” Psa_7:12 If one does not repent (Shoob)! He sharpens His sword, He bends His bow and makes it ready,
