Chapter 14 is a continuation of chapter 13. Follow the progression of place names:
1.) Ramses 2.) Goshen 3.) Sukkot 4.) Etham

• Ramses – Child of the Sun((day));
• Sukkot – booths (to dwell in booths (because we now know the moedim);
• Etham – with them (in the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire) also Isa. 7:14

Verses 1-2 – Now, look at the progression that is taking place: before Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, opposite Ba’al Tsephon.

Pi Hahiroth – H6367 – פִּי הַחִרֹת – pı̂y hachirôth – pee hah-khee-roth’ – From H6310 and the feminine plural of a noun (from the same root as H2356), with the article interposed; mouth of the gorges; ((Also, it can mean the mouth of wrath. Pey is the Hebrew word for mouth.)) Rev. 12:14-16

between Migdol – H4024 – מִגְדֹּל  מִגְדּוֹל – migdôl  migdôl – mig-dole’, mig-dole’ – tower

and, the sea – nations, people, chaos

Now, put it together: ((We)) The Children of Yisra’el were ((are)) located at the Mouth of Wrath

Rev 12:14 And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

Rev 12:15 And out of his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river after the woman, to cause her to be swept away by the river.

Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.

Act 26:18 to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, and the authority of Satan to Elohim, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are set-apart by belief in Me.’

Eph 6:12 Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies.

Col 1:12 giving thanks to the Father who has made us fit to share in the inheritance of the set-apart ones in the light,

We are supposed to serve the Revealer of Secrets:

Dan 2:47 The sovereign answered Dani’ěl, and said, “Truly your Elah is the Elah of elahin, the Master of sovereigns, and a revealer of secrets, since you were able to reveal this secret.”

Mat 13:10 And the taught ones came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”

Mat 13:11 And He answering, said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the secrets of the reign of the heavens, but to them it has not been given.

Luk 24:31 And their eyes were opened and they recognised Him. And He disappeared from their sight.

Luk 24:32 And they said to each other, “Was not our heart burning within us as He was speaking to us on the way, and as He was opening the Scriptures to us?”

 

In verse 2 YHVH tells Mosheh to tell the Children of Yisra’el to turn:

H7725 – שׁוּב – shûb – shoob – A primitive root; to turn back (hence, away)

Verse 3 – entangled – H943 – בּוּך – bûk – BDB Definition: 1) to perplex, confuse, be confused 1a) (Niphal) to be confused, be in confusion: 1Co_14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (KJV)

Psa 71:1 In You, O יהוה, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed.

Joe 1:18 How the beasts moan! ((complain)) The herds of cattle are restless, ((disobedient)) because they have no pasture. ((lack proper spiritual food, Torah)) The flocks of sheep also perish. ((die for lack of knowledge))

Eze 20:35 “And I shall bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and shall enter into judgment with you face to face there.

Eze 20:36 “As I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Mitsrayim, so I shall enter into judgment with you,” declares the Master יהוה.

Eze 20:37 “And I shall make you pass under the rod, and shall bring you into the bond of the covenant, 

Eze 20:38 and purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me. From the land where they sojourn I bring them out, but they shall not come into the land of Yisra’ěl. And you shall know that I am יהוה.

 

Hos 2:10 “And now I shall uncover her shame before the eyes of her lovers, and no one shall deliver her from My hand.

Hos 2:11 “And I shall cause all her rejoicing, her festivals, her New moons, and her Sabbaths, even all her appointed times, to cease,

Hos 2:12 and lay waste her vines and her fig trees, of which she has said, ‘these are my harlot-fees that my lovers have given me.’ And I shall make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.

Hos 2:13 “And I shall punish her for the days of the Ba‛als to which she burned incense and adorned herself with her rings and jewelry, and went after her lovers, and forgot Me,” declares יהוה.

Hos 2:14 “Therefore, see, I am alluring her, and shall lead her into the wilderness, and shall speak to her heart,

 

Rev 12:12 “Because of this rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.” 

Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.

Wilderness = large empty, remote, pathless area: a confusing multitude or mass. (Websters)

Verse 4 – YHVH will be esteemed by Pharaoh and the Mitsrites ((all of our daily challenges and how we overcome them in His Name.))

 

Verse 5 – Pharaoh and his counselors realized that they lost their “free labor” (economics, monetary), i.e. slaves

 

Verse 6 – Chariot – H7393 – רֶכֶב – rekeb – reh’-keb – From H7392; a vehicle; by implication a team; by extension cavalry; by analogy a rider, that is, the upper millstone: – chariot, (upper) millstone,

Mat 18:6 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea.

 

Mar 9:42 “And whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

 

Verse 7 – H977 – בּחר – bâchar – BDB Definition: 1) to choose, elect, decide for

 

Verse 8 – H7311 – רוּם – rûm – BDB Definition: 1) to rise, rise up, be high, be lofty, be exalted

 

Verse 9 – Look at the proximity of the Children of Yisra’el – they are between the Devil and the deep blue sea at the mouth of wrath.

 

Verse 10 – Their old master drew near (Pharaoh, church) and the CoY saw the Mitsrites, (their old church buddies) and they became afraid, dreadful: Mat 13:20 “And that sown on rocky places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy,

Mat 13:21 yet he has no root in himself, but is short-lived, and when pressure or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

 

Verses 11-12 – “Moses, why did you take us out of the church? It would have been better for us to stay in the church where our fathers and grandfathers are buried in the church cemetery, than to come out into this uncharted wilderness. We might even be an example to others and they join us.”

 

Verse 13 – Lo Iyrah!!! Stand(stand still) at your station!(H3320 – yatsab) and see the Yeshua(H3444) of YHVH.

Psa 46:10 Be still, and know that I am Elohim; I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth!

 

Psa 27:1 יהוה is my light and my deliverance; Whom should I fear? יהוה is the refuge of my life; Whom should I dread?

Psa 27:2 When evil-doers come against me To eat up my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, They shall stumble and fall.

Psa 27:3 Though an army encamps against me, My heart does not fear; Though battle comes up against me, Even then I would be trusting.

 

Isa 12:2 “See, Ěl is my deliverance, I trust and am not afraid. For Yah, יהוה, is my strength and my song; and He has become my deliverance.

 

Verse 14 – fight – H3898 – lawkham  and keep silent: Pro 11:12  He who lacks heart despises his neighbour, But a man of understanding keeps silence.

 

Verse 15 – “Go forward” – H5265 – נסע – nâsa‛ – BDB Definition: 1) to pull out, pull up, set out, journey, remove, set forward, depart ((to pull up your tent stakes))

Isa 43:2  “When you pass through the waters, I am with you; and through rivers, they do not overflow you. When you walk through fire, you are not scorched, and a flame does not burn you.

 

Php 4:13  I have strength to do all, through Messiah who empowers me.

 

Verses 16-20 – Isa 52:10  יהוה shall lay bare His set-apart arm in the eyes of all the nations. And all the ends of the earth shall see the deliverance of our Elohim. 

Isa 52:11  Turn aside! Turn aside! Come out from there, touch not the unclean. Come out of her midst, be clean, you who bear the vessels of יהוה. 

Isa 52:12  For you shall not come out in haste, nor go in flight. For יהוה is going before you, and the Elohim of Yisra’ěl is your rear guard. 

He Was Pierced for Our Transgressions

Isa 52:13  See, My Servant shall work wisely, He shall be exalted and lifted up and very high.

Verses 26-31 – The army of Pharaoh was destroyed but not Pharaoh. YHVH’s Deliverance(H3444) brought the CoY through the Red Sea, on dry ground, and they feared YHVH and believed in Him and His servant Mosheh(Torah)
